I’ve had a couple of feedback comments from people who have found the finish not suiting their dry skin – it’s a beautiful foundation but I do see that point and if that’s the case, add a drop of any serum you have available and see how that works. So, I’d go lightly, wait and then go lightly again so can see both application finishes. The colours seem to go on very light but settle themselves after a minute or so and there is enough in each sample bubble to apply a full coat or two lighter applications. If you do decided to get some of the swatch cards, when you try the foundation on, apply with a brush and leave it a moment or two to ‘set’ before you decide which is the right shade. However, in my view Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Foundation veers just a bit matte so if you like a glow finish, it’s not for you. The finish is designed to be a ‘real skin’ finish, so not matte and not dewy but that sweet spot just in between.
