![]() ![]() there is a lot that are translated now that never saw release in English or other languages. Prices here are a total ripoff thou, our dollar is weak to the EURO and USD, plus now we pay extra tax as well on all imports. We have/had PAL here but I prefer to own NTSC/USA for retro games, also don't mind me some Famicom and try to collect any exclusive from Japan like Original Famicom, Super Famicom and Famicom Disk System games if when I can afford it. So for me a lot of imports are just normal games to you guys lol. Not sure what to suggest, I'm in Australia, so there is heaps of great games just from USA let alone Japan that never get released here. Contrary to the belief that Sonic is mute, all characters including Eggman are fully voice acted.Īnyone else been playing these non-localized games? Different ports of games need not apply unless there's a notable difference, like Bare Knuckle 3 and the JP port of Contra Hard Corpse. It's an arcade game called Sega Sonic The Hedgehog, never released outside of Japan to my knowledge, and it features a 3 player setup with Sonic, Mighty, and Ray, in an isometric design to it's stages very similar to Sonic 3D Blast but without the flickies. There's also a Sonic game for this topic, as you all know I'm a fan of by this point. I should warn that there's a good amount of gore in this game, though I think at worse, it's the CGI rendered transformation scenes, which should be mentioned that you can do this at will, for those who never played or heard of this. ![]() Many have dismissed the game since it's aesthetics were totally different from the original 2D game, I actually welcome it. While this game is translated, it bares mentioning since it was released in the states, Altered Beast for the PS2. ![]() Rebirth and Destiny 2 were remade for the PSP while VS and Heroes were made for it, all of which I started playing on the Ouya, Rebirth being the exception, and I have to add that Rebirth is my favorite based on aesthetics alone. For non translated games, Tales of Rebirth, Destiny 2, VS(A smash clone very similar to Onimusha Blade Warriors), and Heroes - Twin Brave(Dynasty Warriors Clone). I started playing a hack translated Tales of Phantasia for the SNES on my phone after finishing Chrono Trigger back in the summer, as well as Tales of the World 2(Also translated for the GBA), and Radiant Mythology(PSP). I did however play some other games of the series. I made mention of this in the Universe Brawl thread, but I looked through this series for a translated game other then Tales of the World 3(GBA Translated hack) featuring Loni Dunamis from Destiny 2, which didn't turn up anything. I hadn't payed any attention to it for a long time, only rented Syphonia for the gamecube when it was new and beat Vesperia last year. I highly recommended trying this game if you haven't, especially if you're a fan of Guardian Heroes. From what I gathered after beating the game and some info, a sequel was planned but the company, Banpresto I think it was called, was bought out and has since been owned by Namco, meaning that sequel will never happen. I've played it off and on over the few years since I tried it, and used a cheat to unlock the bosses, though my favorite character is a badass cigar smoking cyborg name Ein, if I spelled that right. ![]() It's a blatant knockoff of Guardian Heroes and even lets you select which of the first 4 stage you'll play like in Gunstar Heroes, not that it makes this game less enjoyable. I haven't played it in a while since I got stuck somewhere, but maybe one day I'll pick it back up.įor the PS1, a game called Panzer Bandit. Last year I tried a Yakuza spin-off for the PSP called Kurohyou, after one of it's BGM's was linked to me(I later used that track in Sonic Revolution, the flight section in speed slider if anyone played it). I've played a few of these for a while and wanted to know if anyone else does or have an interest in non-localized games or any that have been translated through hacking. EDIT: Due to the difference in nationalities here, I'm now specifying Japanese games. ![]()
